Sudare collection: This collection contains two beautiful Japanese fabrics.
The ivory fabric combines different Japanese traditional patterns. These patterns include Yagasuri(arrow), Shippo(circle) and Asanoha(hemp). The connected shapes are reminiscent of the threads of hanging beads that divide rooms in a contemporary Japanese house, Sudare.
The other pink geometric pattern is "Asanoha" and represents the hemp leaf. As hemp grows strongly without much care, it was traditionally used for children's kimonos with the wish that they too will grow up strong.
Handmade item: Each wrap is handmade in the UK.
