Tombo, set of 4 beeswax wraps
Tombo, set of 4 beeswax wraps
Tombo Collection: In the navy fabric you'll see some Tombo, dragonflies flying around and its jewel-like wings standing out in bright colours. Dragonflies have captured Japanese imaginations for centuries, and they appear in Japanese art, poems, and songs.
The blue geometric pattern is called "Asanoha" and represents the hemp leaf. As hemp grows strongly without much care, it was traditionally used for children's kimonos with the wish that they too will grow up strong.
These beeswax wraps would make a lovely gift for all ages!
Handmade item: Each wrap is handmade in the UK.
