Tsuru Collection : The red fabric depicts beautiful cranes, known as Tsuru in Japanese. Cranes are the symbol of longevity, good fortune and prosperity, and fill Japanese tales, music and art. Tsuru are often embroidered onto celebratory kimono, and are a popular motif for weddings as the bird mates for life. The golden lines add a luxurious touch to the entire collection.
The ivory fabric is full of plum flowers and cherry blossoms. You can see various traditional Japanese patterns within the flower petals as well as some Mizuhiki, beautiful knots often used to decorate gifts and envelopes in Japan.
This would make a lovely gift for weddings, birthdays and other celebratory occasions.
