Umi Collection : This collection comes with a dark navy fabric with various sea creatures and a beautiful light blue geometric patterned fabric. ‘Umi’ means ‘ocean’ in Japanese.
The navy fabric combines the Japanese traditional wave pattern, Seigaiha, and various sea creatures including whales, turtles, jellyfish, seahorses and more! You can also find different Japanese traditional patterns within the waves!
The light blue geometric pattern is called “Asanoha" and represents the hemp leaf. As hemp grows strongly without much care, it was traditionally used for children's kimonos with the wish that they too will grow up strong.
This would make a great gift for sea lovers!
