Momiji, Set of 4 Beeswax Food Wraps
Low stock: 2 left
Momiji collection: In the beige fabric you'll see some momiji, Japanese maple leaves, and deers playing around among them.
“Maple leaves and deers” (Momiji ni shika) are a cultural expression in Japan that describes the idea of a good pairing. These two appear in traditional Japanese art and in a Japanese card game called Hanafuda.
The orange geometric pattern is called "Asanoha" and represents the hemp leaf. As hemp grows strongly without much care, it was traditionally used for children's kimonos with the wish that they too will grow up strong.
These beeswax wraps would make a lovely gift for garden & animal lovers!!
